Chairman Bishop

Most Rev K A William
Bishop of Mysore

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12, ESV) Therefore, it is very important to read or listen to the WORD every day, in any possible form, anywhere, but MUST. The WORD is the words of the ALMIGHTY who has created and now nurturing every one and every thing in this Universe. He CAN do everything. Therefore, listening and reading the WORD changes our LIFE. I strongly recommend, make reading or listening the Word of God YOUR daily habit.

Bishop of Chikkamagaluru

97 Oh how I love your law!
It is my meditation all the day.
98 Your commandment
makes me wiser than my enemies,
for it is ever with me.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers,
for your testimonies are my meditation.
100 I understand more than the aged,
for I keep your precepts.
101 I hold back my feet from every evil way,
in order to keep your word.
102 I do not turn aside from your rules,
for you have taught me.
103 How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Through your precepts I get understanding;
therefore I hate every false way. (Ps 119: 97-104)
The Psalm is self-explanatory. The Word of God bearing witness to itself. There is nothing more required to add.

You have already been cleansed by the WORD that I have spoken to you. Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing (Jn 15: 3-5).

Brethren, St John the evangelist declares in the Prologue of his gospel that, the WORD was with God and the WORD was GOD. By this He makes it clear to all the readers of his gospel that the WORD is none other than the Lord JESUS CHRIST. All the evangelists worked hard to make this knowledge to all their readers down the centuries. Therefore, the BIBLE is the first and powerful witness to the acts of God.
